Sheep and Goat Weighted Average for Monday, November 10, 2014

Sheep/Lamb Receipts: 2141   Last Monday:  809   Year Ago: 2196

   Compared to last week, Slaughter Lambs sold mostly 30.00-40.00
lower compared to a very light test last week. Demand was light.
Slaughter Ewes sold mostly steady compared to a very light test
last week. Demand was moderate. This report does not include
mixed lots of sheep and lambs. Slaughter supply consisted of
68 percent lambs, 23 percent slaughter ewes, and 9 percent
slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for
non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the
hundred weight, on actual weights.

   Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, Slaughter Kids
sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower compared to a very light test
last week. Demand was moderate. Slaughter Nannies sold mostly
10.00-20.00 lower. Demand was moderate. This report does not 
contain information on single head lots as they do not reflect
an accurate market trend. Reported slaughter supply consisted
of 66 percent Slaughter Kids, 25 percent Slaughter Nannies,
and 9 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All goats are sold
by the head on estimated weights.
