Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of
what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold mostly steady to 20.00
lower. Demand was moderate. Slaughter ewes sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower.
Demand was moderate. Slaughter supply consisted of 82 percent lambs,
12 percent slaughter ewes and 6 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and
lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are
sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.

Prime 2-3 50-70 lbs 192.00-202.00; 60-80 lbs hair sheep 195.00-217.00;

10.00-20.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Nannies traded mostly steady on a
very light test. Reported slaughter supply consisted of 56 percent
Slaughter Kids, 32 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 12 percent bucks/billies
and whethers. All Goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
