are subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through
mainstream outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs
destined for slaughter outside of what would be termed as
traditional markets. ***

   Sheep and Lambs: Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs
traded mostly steady to 10.00 lower. Slaughter ewes traded
mostly firm. Slaughter supply consisted of 69 percent lambs,
23 percent slaughter ewes, and 8 percent miscellaneous stock.
All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets.
All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on actual
weights.

   Slaughter Bucks: 130-150 lbs hair sheep 102.00-120.00;

   Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kid
goats sold mostly steady. Slaughter Nanny goats sold mostly
weak. Slaughter Billies sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Demand
was moderate for all classes. Overall quality not as good as
previous week. Slaughter supply consisted of 58 percent
Slaughter Kids, 26 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 16 percent
bucks/billies and whethers. All Goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
          
    Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 156.00-192.00; 60-
80 lbs 168.00-200.00; 80-110 lbs 180.00-212.00. Selection 2
40-60 lbs 118.00-154.00; 60-80 lbs 130.00-165.00; 80-100 lbs
145.00-176.00. Selection 3 40-60 lbs 80.00-110.00; 60-80 lbs

    Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1 90-130 lbs 167.00-
