   Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 lower on a light
test. Demand moderate. Unconventional Steers are steers sold primarily to
the ethnic market. Today those steers sold 2.00-3.00 lower on a light test.
Demand light. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested last week so no
comparison. Slaughter heifers sold mostly steady on a light test last week.
Slaughter cows sold 5.00-6.00 lower on light to moderate demand. Not enough
Slaughter bulls for a market test. Cattle supplies included 155 steers;
76 heifers; 466 cows; 26 bulls; and 20 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
                                                                       
   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1605 lbs individual 124.00.
Choice 2-3  1275-1600 lbs 117.00-121.50. Select 2-3  1225-1650 lbs 110.00-
117.50. Unconventional steers  1300-1750 lbs 113.00-125.00, mostly 118.00-

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Number 1 and 2 
Holstein Bull calves traded mostly 50.00-70.00 higher with instances of 
100.00-120.00 higher in Number 2 calves weighing 90-110 lbs. Number 3 
and Utility bull calves traded mostly 20.00-50.00 higher. Bull calves 
weighing under 80 lbs sold steady. Number 1 and 2 Holstein Heifer calves 
traded 30.00-50.00 higher. Number 3 and Utility/Non-tubing heifer calves
traded steady to 20.00 higher on another light test. Ag Market News LLC 
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 342 head for Thursday's sale.
