   Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold mostly steady to firm
on a very light test. Demand good. Ethnic Steers are steers sold
primarily to the ethnic market. Today those steers sold 3.00-4.00
higher on good demand. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested. Not enough
Slaughter heifers for a market test. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower
on moderate demand. Not enough Slaughter bulls for a market test. Cattle
supplies included 105 steers; 51 heifers; 352 cows; 10 bulls; and
31 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
                                                                       
   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1250-1550 lbs 117.00-
121.00. Choice 2-3  1175-1650 lbs 113.00-116.00. Select 2-3  1300-1600
lbs few 109.00-113.00. Ethnic steers  1300-1850 lbs 108.00-130.00,

Bull Calves sold 40.00-50.00 higher on a very light test. Demand good. 
Holstein Heifer Calves 10.00-15.00 lower on another light test. Ag Market
News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 278 head for Thursday's
sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
                                                                     
   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  120-130 lbs 40.00; 100-118 lbs
67.00-87.00; 90-98 lbs 40.00. Number 2  132 lbs 40.00; 106-118 lbs 70.00-
77.00; 98-104 lbs 90.00-95.00; 80-92 lbs 15.00-40.00. Number 3  90-130 lbs
20.00-30.00; 60-88 lbs 10.00-15.00. Utility  60-130 lbs 10.00-17.00.
                                                                       
   Holstein Heifer Calves: All heifers from 80-120 lbs 15.00-25.00. All
