   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 3.00-4.00 higher on
good demand. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily
to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
4.00-5.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter Holstein steers sold 1.00-
2.00 higher. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold steady
to 2.00 higher. Demand good. Not enough Slaughter bulls for a market
test. Cattle supplies included 159 steers; 42 heifers; 395 cows;
11 bulls; and 9 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

116.00. Choice 2-3  1200-1650 lbs 108.00-110.00. Select 1-2  1300-1650

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein 
bull calves sold mixed. Number 1 and 2 bull calves sold mostly 10.00-30.00
lower on another light supply while a heavy supply of Number 3 and Utility 
calves sold mostly 20.00-40.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves traded with 
a steady undertone on another light test. Ag Market News LLC under the 
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 401 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are 
sold by the cwt.
