Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 higher.
Demand good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to
the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
steady on a very light test. Demand light. Slaughter Holstein steers
sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter heifers sold steady to 1.00 higher
compared to a very light test last week. Demand good. Slaughter cows
sold 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand moderate. Not enough Slaughter bulls
for a comparison. Cattle supplies included 230 steers; 101 heifers;
385 cows; 21 bulls; and 18 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

291 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 110-124 lbs 90.00-102.00; 88-108
lbs 110.00-122.00. Number 2 80-128 lbs 100.00-120.00. Number 3 80-130 lbs
82.00-100.00; 60-78 lbs 40.00. Utility 78-130 lbs 25.00-45.00.
Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1 90-120 lbs few 70.00-75.00. Number 2
80-120 lbs 40.00-65.00. Number 3 70-110 lbs 40.00-50.00. Utility/Non-
