Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 higher
on a light test. Demand good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers
sold primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean.
Those steers sold steady on a light test. Demand light. Slaughter
Holstein steers sold steady. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00-2.00 higher
on a very light test. Demand moderate. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00
lower. Demand good at the lower prices. Slaughter bulls sold mostly
steady on a very light test. Cattle supplies included 169 steers;
138 heifers; 491 cows; 20 bulls; and 14 feeder calves. All prices
per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1325-1600 lbs 125.50-
131.50; few 1650-1750 lbs 120.00-123.50. Choice 2-3 1250-1625 lbs
123.00-126.50. Select 1-2 1450-1600 lbs 121.00-122.50. High Dressing

bull calves sold mixed with calves weighing over 100 lbs selling steady to
20.00 lower and lighter calves trading steady to 20.00 higher. Holstein
heifer calves sold steady on a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 416 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are
sold by the cwt.

110 lbs 110.00-115.00. Number 2 112-128 lbs 90.00-90.00; 102-110 lbs
110.00-112.00; 80-100 lbs 125.00-130.00. Number 3 100-130 lbs 97.00-
100.00; 80-98 lbs 117.00-127.00; 72-78 lbs 70.00. Utility 100-110 lbs
