Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady on a very
light test. Demand good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily
to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold steady.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold 1.00-3.00 lower on moderate demand. Slaughter
heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady. Demand moderate.
Slaughter bulls mostly steady. Cattle supplies included 174 steers;
86 heifers; 349 cows; 48 bulls; and 20 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1250-1550 lbs 108.50-
112.00. Choice 2-3 1250-1500 lbs 105.50-108.50. Select 1-2 1300-1500
lbs 100.00-104.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 1150-1650 lbs 106.00-118.00,
few 119.00-123.00.

calves sold weak on a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-
LMAR program graded 390 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by
the cwt.

lbs 120.00. Number 2 112-118 lbs 133.00; 94-110 lbs 142.00-158.00; 80-92
