Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 lower.
Demand was good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily
to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
2.00-3.00 lower on another very light test. Slaughter Holstein steers
sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00-2.00 lower compared
to a light test last week. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 lower.
Demand moderate. Slaughter bulls sold mostly 2.00-3.00 lower on a very
light test. Cattle supplies included 245 steers; 123 heifers; 456 cows;
26 bulls; and 32 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1375-1600 lbs 120.00-
125.00. Choice 2-3 1250-1550 lbs 116.00-120.00. Select 1-2 1250-1600

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein
bull calves sold mostly 10.00-40.00 lower. Holstein heifer calves sold
weak on a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program
graded 491 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 112-130 lbs 130.00-137.00; 96-
110 lbs 147.00-158.00. Number 2 112-128 lbs 125.00-130.00; 80-110 lbs
135.00-148.00. Number 3 80-130 lbs 80.00-80.00; 72-78 lbs 97.00. Utility
