   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher.
Demand was good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily
to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
3.00-4.00 higher on another very light test. Slaughter Holstein steers
sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter heifers sold steady on a light test.
Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand moderate. Slaughter bulls
sold mostly steady to 1.00 higher on a light test. Cattle supplies
included 165 steers; 72 heifers; 365 cows; 24 bulls; and 8 feeder
calves. All prices per cwt.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein 
bull calves sold mixed with Number 1 and 2 calves selling 20.00-50.00 
higher, Number 3 calves selling steady to 20.00 lower, and Utility calves
selling 40.00-60.00 lower. Holstein heifer calves sold mostly steady. 
Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 414 head for 
Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
