Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 2.00-3.00 lower.
High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic market
and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 3.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter
Holstein steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter heifers sold mostly
1.00-2.00 lower compared to a light test the previous week. Demand was
moderate. Slaughter cows sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher. Demand was good.
Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 lower on a light test. Cattle supplies
included 199 steers; 72 heifers; 301 cows; 18 bulls; and 13 feeder calves.

bull calves sold mostly 20.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves sold 20.00-
30.00 higher. Demand was good. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR
program graded 400 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the
cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 120-128 lbs 197.00; 94-118 lbs
227.00-245.00; 90-92 lbs 195.00. Number 2 120-128 lbs 197.00; 106-118 lbs
232.00-244.00; 94-104 lbs 250.00-256.00; 80-92 lbs 210.00-215.00. Number 3
