   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 1.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter
Holstein steers sold steady to 2.00 lower on a light test. Slaughter heifers
not tested this week. Demand was moderate. Slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00-
4.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 lower.
Demand was light. Cattle supplies included 272 steers; 49 heifers; 424 cows;
28 bulls; and 23 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1200-1545 lbs 149.50-152.50; 
Choice 2-3  1320-1600 lbs 146.50-148.50; Select 1-3  1160-1640 lbs 142.00-
146.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1480-1520 lbs 139.00-

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull
calves sold 100.00-120.00 lower. Demand was very light. Holstein heifer 
calves sold steady. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program 
graded 477 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  120-128 lbs 340.00; 114-118 lbs 
390.00; 90-112 lbs 345.00-375.00. Number 2  98-128 lbs 335.00-360.00; 88-96 
lbs 370.00-380.00; 80-86 lbs 415.00. Number 3  100-130 lbs 300.00-315.00; 
90-98 lbs 350.00-352.00; 72-88 lbs 360.00-395.00. Utility 90-110 lbs 90.00
-100.00; 60-88 lbs 55.00-80.00.  

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  90-110 lbs 370.00-420.00; Number 295
