   Compared to two weeks ago, Slaughter steers sold mostly
2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 2.00-3.00
lower. Slaughter heifers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand
was moderate for all classes. Slaughter cows sold mostly 3.00-
4.00 higher. Demand was moderate. Cattle supplies included
338 slaughter steers; 114 heifers; 441 cows; 45 bulls; and
43 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1600 lbs
166.00-171.00, individual at 174.00. Choice 2-3 1250-1650 lbs
163.00-166.00. Select 1-3 1350-1750 lbs 155.00-161.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1350-1700 lbs
156.00-163.00. Choice 2-3 1350-1650 lbs 150.00-155.00. Select 1-2
1300-1750 lbs 144.00-149.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to two weeks ago Holstein
bull calves sold sharply lower, mostly 80.00-90.00 lower, a few to
100.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Heifers sold weak. Ag Market News
LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 495 head for Thursday's sale.
All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  110-128 lbs 350.00-375.00;
94-108 lbs 385.00-395.00; 86-92 lbs 422.00-415.00. Number 2 106-128 lbs
340.00-360.00; 94-104 lbs 380.00-410.00; 80-92 lbs 422.00-432.00.
Number 3 100-130 lbs 335.00-340.00; 80-98 lbs 425.00-442.00; 72-78 lbs
395.00. Utility 90-110 lbs 150.00-160.00; 80-88 lbs 260.00; 60-78 lbs
