   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
3.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 1.00-3.00 higher 
on a light test. Demand moderate to good. Not enough Slaughter 
heifers for a market test. Slaughter cows sold mostly 4.00-5.00 
lower. Demand was moderate. Cattle supplies included 331 slaughter
steers; 99 heifers; 413 cows; 59 bulls; and 18 feeder calves. 
All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1250-1600 lbs 161.00-
166.00. Choice 2-3  1300-1600 lbs 158.00-161.00.  Select 1-3 1200-1550 
lbs 155.00-158.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1375-1600 lbs
150.00-157.50. Choice 2-3  1300-1650 lbs 144.00-149.00. Select 2-3

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bull
calves sold sharply higher mostly 30.00 to 50.00 higherwith good demand. 
Heifers sold steady in a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR
program graded 493 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the
cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  90-128 lbs 290.00-312.  Number 2 
106-128 lbs 275.00-295.00; 94-104 lbs 304.00-315.00; 80-86 lbsd 270.00. 
Number 3 90-130 lbs 190.00-210.00;72-88 lbs 155.00-175.00. 
Utility 100-110 lbs 80.00; 80-98 lbs 155.00-170.00; 60-78 lbs 90.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  90-105 lbs 240.00-280.00.
