   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
3.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower.
Demand was light. Not enough Slaughter heifers for a market test.
Slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 2.00 lower. Demand was
moderate. Cattle supplies included 436 slaughter steers;
71 heifers; 393 cows; 34 bulls; and 15 feeder calves. All prices
per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1550 lbs 153.00-
158.50, mostly 153.50-157.00. Choice 2-3  1300-1700 lbs 148.00-152.50.
Select 2-3 1300-1700 lbs 145.00-148.50.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650 lbs
149.00-153.75. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 145.00-148.00. Select 2-3

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bull
calves sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher on moderate demand. Heifers
sold mostly steady to 10.00 lower. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 454 head for Thursday's sale. All calves
are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  120-128 lbs 280.00; 102-118
lbs 302.00-311.00; 80-100 lbs 321.00-337.00. Number 2 120-128 lbs
277.00; 106-118 lbs 306.00-307.00; 98-104 lbs 316.00-321.00; 80-96 lbs
