   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold
mostly 2.00 lower. Demand was good. Holstein steers sold mostly 
weak compared to last weeks light test. Heifers sold mostly firm
on a very light test. Slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00 lower. Demand 
was good. Cattle supplies included 343 slaughter steers; 77 heifers; 
368 cows; 56 bulls; and 29 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1670 lbs
mostly 146.00-151.00, few to 152.50. Choice 2-3  1150-1575 lbs
141.00-145.50. Select 2-3  1300-1700 lbs 136.50-140.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650
lbs mostly 128.00-133.00 few to 139.00, Choice 2-3  1300-1750 lbs 
122.00-127.50. Select 2-3  1325-1700 lbs 114.00-121.00.

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1450
lbs few 150.50-155.00. Choice 2-3  1100-1550 lbs 144.50.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein
Bull and Heifer calves sold mostly steady to weak. Demand was good to 
very good. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 324
head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  110-128 lbs 247.00-267.00;
90-108 lbs 275.00-287.00; Number 2 80-128 lbs 237.00-251.00; 
Number 3 90-130 lbs 190.00-200.00; 72-88 lbs 160.00-185.00.
Utility 60-110 lbs 50.00-75.00. 

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  80-105 lbs 275.00-355.00;
Number 2  90-105 lbs 225.00-330.00, 70-85 lbs 150.00-200.00.
Non-Tubing/Utility 60-110 lbs 40.00-70.00.
