   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
steady to 1.00 lower. Demand was very good. Holstein steers sold
mostly 2.00-3.00 higher on a very light test. Heifers sold mostly
steady on a light test. Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower on
good demand. Cattle supplies included 277 slaughter steers;
129 heifers; 483 cows; 54 bulls; and 11 feeder calves. All prices
per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1600 lbs
141.00-146.00. Choice 2-3  1200-1600 lbs 135.00-140.00. Select
2-3 1150-1650 lbs 128.00-134.50. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1450-1650 lbs
131.00-137.50, mostly 131.00-134.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs
124.50-129.00. Select 2-3 1350-1650 lbs 115.00-122.50.

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1300 lbs

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bulls 
sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher. Heifers sold weak. Ag Market News LLC
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 368 head for Thursday's sale. All
calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves:  Number 1  106-128 lbs 140.00-154.00;
98-104 lbs 160.00-170.00. Number 2  106-128 lbs 148.00-154.00; 94-104
lbs 158.00-168.00; 80-92 lbs 140.00. Number 3 100-130 lbs 104.00-106.00;
80-98 lbs 122.00-164.00; 72-78 lbs 70.00. Utility 90-110 lbs 40.00-
42.00; 60-88 lbs 20.00-30.00.

   Holstein Heifers: Number 1  80-120 lbs 100.00-120.00. Number 2
