   Compared to Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
2.00 to 3.00 higher. Demand was good. Holstein steers sold
mostly 2.00-3.00 higher on a very light test. Heifers sold
mostly 2.00-3.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter cows sold
3.00 to 4.00 higher on good demand. Cattle supplies included
203 slaughter steers; 78 heifers; 487 cows; 33 bulls; and
28 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1600 lbs
134.00-140.00, mostly 135.00-139.00. Choice 2-3  1150-1600 lbs
128.00-133.50. Select 2-3 1150-1500 lbs 121.00-127.50. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1450-1650 lbs
128.00-131.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 121.50-125.00. Select
2-3 1350-1650 lbs 109.00-119.00.

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1300 lbs

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week holstein bulls 
sold mostly steady. Heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Ag Market News LLC
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 472 head for Thursday's sale. All
calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves:  Number 1  120-128 lbs 145.00; 94-118 lbs
160.00-167.00. Number 2  112-128 lbs 145.00-150.00; 88-110 lbs 155.00-
163.00; 80-86 lbs 80.00. Number 3 90-130 lbs 107.00-130.00; 80-88 lbs
80.00; 72-78 lbs 35.00. Utility 90-110 lbs 30.00-35.00; 60-88 lbs 17.00-
25.00.

   Holstein Heifers: Number 1  75-110 lbs 100.00-115.00. Number 2
80-100 lbs 75.00-90.00. Utility/Non tubing 80-100 lbs 10.00-20.00.
