National Weekly Slaughter Sheep Review for w/e Friday, September 20, 2013
Compared to last week, negotiated slaughter lambs under 170 lbs were mostly
3.00 to 4.00 higher, while over 170 lbs were not tested this week. Compared to
last week, formula dressed lambs under 55 lbs were not well tested last week for
an adequate price comparison; 55-65 lbs were mostly 4.00 to 5.00 higher; 65-75
lbs were 2.00 to 3.00 higher; 75-85 lbs were 2.00 lower; no test on those 85 lbs
and over.
