National Weekly Slaughter Sheep Review for w/e Friday, March 22, 2013
Compared to last week, slaughter lambs under 170 lbs sold 1.00-2.00 higher with no
comparable sales of slaughter lambs over 170 lbs. Formula dressed sales under 55 lbs
not well tested, however a higher undertone was noted; 55-65 lbs 3.00 lower; 65-75
lbs steady to 1.00 higher; 75-85 lbs 3.00-4.00 higher; over 85 lbs steady to 1.00
lower. Negotiated sales fob unless otherwise noted.
