Compared to last Tuesday steers steady except very good demand for 400-500 steers
that were noticeably higher.  Heifer calves in very good demand especially for weaned, 
open and black-hided good quality calves.  Yearling steers sold steady to 1.00 higher with
good demand.  Markets have improved since the Labor Day Holiday.  Slaughter cows and
slaughter bulls remain in light to moderate demand.

04 replacement cattle, 11 slaughter cattle, and 1379 feeder cattle.  Today's supply included
80.6 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 56.9 percent steers and 4.1 percent bull calves
and 22.4 percent heifers. 7 slaughter cows with 85 percent going to slaughter.
02 head of slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter.
