**Lexington Tuesday sale held at Richmond yards while new yards is under 
construction**

Compared to last Tuesday steer and heifer calves sold 3.00 to 10.00 higher with 
very good demand on a very active market with weaned middleweight calf packages 
surging higher.  Yearling steers 2.00 to 3.00 higher with very good demand.  
Quality was good through attractive. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold 2.00 
higher with good demand.  

06 replacement cattle, 37 slaughter cattle, and 710 feeder cattle.  Today's supply 
included 48.5 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 48.1 percent steers and 10.1 
percent bull calves and 35.8 percent heifers. 32 slaughter cows with 98 percent 
going to slaughter.  05 head of slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to 
slaughter.
