fire that destroyed Lexington yards****
 
Compared to last Tuesday steer and heifer calves sold steady to 3.00 higher with
moderate demand in a light test. Yearlings sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher with good demand.
Quality was average through good.  Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold 1.00 lower
with moderate demand in a light test.

0 replacement cattle, 09 slaughter cattle, and 541 feeder cattle.
Today's supply included 92.1 percent that weighed over 600 lbs.
65.0 percent steers and 2.4 percent bull calves 0.0 percent Holstein Steers
and 31.1 percent heifers of total recorded feeder supply. 07 head of slaughter
cows with 100 percent going to slaughter. 02 head of slaughter bulls with
100 percent going to slaughter.
