 ****Lexington Tuesday's sale now held at Richmond yards due to 
fire that destroyed Lexington yards****

Compared to last Tuesday's sale steer calves were mixed with 400-500 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher
and 500-700 lbs 3.00-5.00 lower with thin-fleshed calves in moderate demand; fleshy calves 
in light demand.  Heifer calves sold mixed with middleweights steady to 3.00 lower and over 
600 lbs steady to firm. Market sluggish early but improved due to some farmer participation
in the market late morning.  Quality was average through good.  Slaughter cows sold 
3.00 lower with light demand and slaughter bulls sold steady with moderate demand.

04 replacement cattle, 45 slaughter cattle, and 838 feeder cattle.  Today's supply
included 36.1 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 50.0 percent steers and
14.5 percent bull calves 0 percent Holstein Steers and 29.6 percent heifers 
of total recorded feeder supply. 37 head of slaughter cows with 89 percent
going to slaughter. 08 head of slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter.
