 **Lexington Monday sale held at Mt. Sterling yards while new yards is under construction**

No comparison to last Monday due to market lightly tested with few calves on the market;
however demand remains good for groups of weaned calves and yearling packages.  Quality
was plain through good.  Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 lower in a light test.

05 replacement cattle, 274 slaughter cattle, and 232 feeder cattle.  Today's supply included
50.7 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 46.5 percent steers and 12.9 percent bull calves
and 27.7 percent heifers. 27 slaughter cows with 98 percent going to slaughter. 
6 head of slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter.
