****Lexington Monday sale held at Mt Sterling yard while new Lexington stockyard is under construction***

Compared to last Monday steer calves sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher with good demand.  Heifer calves sold
1.00 to 3.00 higher with moderate demand.  Yearlings limited comparison.  Quality was average through
good.  Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold 2.00 lower with moderate demand.

12 replacement cattle, 66 slaughter cattle, and 510 feeder cattle.
Today's supply included 26.3 percent that weighed over 600 lbs.
34.1 percent steers and 22.0 percent bull calves and 31.8 percent heifers. 
56 slaughter cows with 98 percent going to slaughter.  10 head of slaughter
bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter.
