****Lexington Monday cattle sales now conducted at Mt. Sterling sale barn due
to massive fire that destroyed Lexington sale barn on Sat. January 30. 
Tomorrow's Lexington Tues. sale will be held at Richmond sale barn****

Compared to last Monday steer calves under 600 lbs sold 2.00-5.00 lower with moderate
demand over 600 lbs sold steady with good demand. Heifer calves sold mostly steady with 
good demand except 500-600 lbs fleshy offerings 5.00-10.00 lower with light demand.  
Quality was plain through good.  Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold steady with
moderate demand.

18 replacement cattle, 55 slaughter cattle, and 493 feeder cattle.  Today's supply 
included 43.7 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 28.2 percent steers and 9.3 percent
bull calves .2 percent Holstein Steers and 50.7 percent heifers of total recorded
feeder supply. 55 head of slaughter cows with 95 percent going to slaughter.
06 head of slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter.
