   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers 600-800 lbs unevenly steady; over 800
 lbs 2.00-4.00 lower.  Feeder heifers 1.00-5.00 lower; over 800 lbs not well
 tested.  500-600 lbs steer calves unevenly steady, lighter weights had a
 limited test.  550-600 lbs heifer calves 1.00 higher, lighter weights not well
 tested.  As seems what has turned typical, cattle futures are trading higher
 following the Bearish Cattle on Feed Report.  Slaughter cattle trade was
 moderate on a slightly lower market. Weather has returned to the mid 90's and
 more typical of late August.  Recent rains has farmers working ground and
 preparing to plant wheat.  Feeder cattle supply included 55 percent Steers, 44
 percent Heifers, and  1 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was
 74 percent.
