 Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 3/13/2017

 Receipts:  7,100     Week ago:   8,069    Year ago:  6,267

    ***Close*** Compared to last week: Feeder steers and steer calves steady to
 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers and heifer calves mostly 2.00-4.00 higher, except
 600 weights 6.00 higher.  Demand moderate to good for feeders.  Demand
 continues to be very good for thin fleshed cattle headed to grass.  Quality
 plain to attractive.  Rain fell over the weekend, however most areas saw
 limited amounts of moisture.  Feeder supply included 64 percent Steers, 0
 percent Holstein Steers, 34 percent Heifers, and  2 percent Bulls. Feeder
 Supply over 600 lbs was 78 percent.
