 Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 1/23/2017

 Receipts:  12,000     Week ago:   2,736    Year ago:  9,217

    ***Mid-Session*** Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers are
 trading steady to 4.00 higher.  Steer and heifer calves are selling steady to
 4.00 higher on limited comparable sales.  Demand moderate to good.  Quality
 plain to attractive.  Much of the Northwestern part of the state is still
 without power and several miles of power lines remain on the ground.  Feeder
 supply included 68 percent Steers, 0 percent Holstein Steers, 31 percent
 Heifers, and  1 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 75 percent.
