 Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/10/2016

 Receipts:  4,900     Week ago:   6,104    Year ago:  7,120

 Compared to last weeks sharply lower market,  Feeder steers and heifers sold
 mostly steady.  Steer and heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower, with exception of
 550-600 lb heifers 2.00-4.00 higher.  Demand moderate to good, quality mostly
 average to attractive.  Cooler temps have swept across the trade area bringing
 much more Fall like temps.  Feeder supply included 64 percent Steers, 0 percent
 Holstein Steers, 30 percent Heifers, and  6 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over
 600 lbs was 61 percent.
