 Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 8/29/2016

 Receipts:  6,035     Week ago:   6,049    Year ago:  6,510

    ** Add Close**

 Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves 5.00-10.00 lower, with
 exception of steers from 750-850 lbs mostly 3.00-5.00 lower.  Cattle futures
 lower last week and continue in the red today.  Slaughter cattle prices also
 lower and this is limiting demand for all classes.  Quality mostly average few
 attractive.  No sale next Monday due to the Labor Day Holiday.  Feeder supply
 included 55 percent Steers, 42 percent Heifers, and  3 percent Bulls. Feeder
 Supply over 600 lbs was 59 percent.
