 Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 8/15/2016

 Receipts:  8,600     Week ago:   5,789    Year ago:  6,044

 Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly steady.  Feeder heifers steady to
 2.00 higher.  Demand good for feeder cattle.  Steer and heifer calves 1.00-3.00
 higher.  Quality so far plain to average but many cattle in thin to medium
 flesh.  Weekend cool front left behind cooler than normal temps but came in
 with little to no rain.  Feeder supply included 61 percent Steers, 0 percent
 Holstein Steers, 38 percent Heifers, and  1 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over
 600 lbs was 73 percent.
