Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 08/31/2015

Actual Receipts:  6,510   Last Monday:  7,637   Year Ago Monday:  Holiday

    Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher.  
Steer and heifer calves traded mostly steady, with the exception of 400-450 lb 
cattle which traded 10.00 to 15.00 higher.  Renewed confidence and recovery in 
the financial markets has helped stabilize buyer demand and allowed the market 
to begin to gain back last week's losses.  Supply included 68 percent over 600 
lbs and 35 percent heifers.
