Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 12/01/2014

Estimated Receipts: 6000     Last Monday: 5941     Year Ago Monday: 3558

  Compared to last week:  Feeder steers traded unevenly steady.  Feeder heifers 
were steady to 2.00 higher.  Steer and heifer calves mostly steady to 5.00 
lower.  Quality plain to attractive.  Despite cooler temperatures today, the 
Climate Prediction Center is reporting that the first half of December will hold 
above average temperatures nationwide.  Warm temperatures will be welcomed by 
stockers taking fresh weaned calves to wheat.  Supply included 53 percent over 
600 lbs; 35 percent heifers.
