Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 09/29/2014 - Mid Session

Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers opened steady to firm.  Steer 
calves 5.00 to 10.00 higher.  Heifer calves mostly steady.  Quality is much more 
attractive this week, with several reputation strings of cattle on offer.  Price 
trends are following the large advancements recognized on both the CME Feeder 
Cattle and Live Cattle contracts.  October Feeder Cattle closed up 7.00 on the 
week and Live Cattle closed up 4.00, with December Corn only advancing 0.25 for 
the week.
