Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 06/09/2014

Actual Receipts: 6234   Last Monday: 11,163   Year Ago Monday: 11,453

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers 3.00-6.00 higher, 
instance 8.00-10.00 higher on steers over 800 lbs and heifers over 
700 lbs.  Steer and heifer calves 10.00-15.00 higher.  Demand very good 
for all classes.  Market continues very bullish following a sharp rise in 
the cattle futures and a 2.00 increase in slaughter cattle prices.  Rains 
fell again over the weekend with 2-4 inches very common in most all areas 
of the state.  Receipts this week totaled 76 percent ovwer 600 lbs and 48 
percent heifers.
