Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 07/15/2013

Estimated Receipts:  11,600   Last Monday:  6955   Yr Ago Monday:  7667

  Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers are trading steady to 
2.00 lower.  Steer calves opening 2.00-4.00 higher.  Heifer calves steady 
to 3.00 higher.  Demand good for calves.  Mid July feeling more like Mid 
April in Oklahoma.  Heavy rains moved in from the east with up to 3 
inches falling in a few spots on Sunday, many areas thru central Oklahoma 
seeing 1-2 inches.  Temps are in the 70's and the rain continues to fall.  
This system continues to move off to the west giving the drought areas 
some much needed relief.
