Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 06/10/2013

Actual Receipts:  11,453   Last Monday:  7992   Yr Ago Monday:  9269

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers 1.00-3.00 higher.  
Demand good for feeder cattle.  Steer and heifer calves lightly tested
and very uneven.  Fleshy un-weaned calves selling to limited demand.  
Demand moderate to good for weaned calves.  Summer has finally arrived 
in the state and temps are expected to be in mid to upper 90's.  Central
Oklahoma wheat harvest should by underway by the weekend.  Quality 
mostly average.  Supply once again includes several heavy weight feeder
cattle. Receipts this week totaled 86 percent over 600 lbs and 44 percent 
heifers.
