Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 03/18/2013

Actual Receipts:  9527   Last Monday:  *9133*   Yr Ago Monday:  *7502*
  
Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers are sold 1.00 to 
3.00 lower.  Demand moderate for feeder cattle.  Steer and heifer calves 
mostly 3.00 to 6.00 lower in a light offering.  Warm temperatures 
over the weekend has wheat pastures around the area in very good 
condition.  Receipts this week totaled 79 percent over 600 lbs and 36 
percent heifers.
