Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 08/16/2019

Receipts: 625          Last Week 5,584        Last Year 1,974              

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and tested this week.  Sharp
declines on both the CME Feeder and Live Cattle contracts early in the
week had buyers and sellers weary to make any movement.  Demand light. 
Supply consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs and 58 percent heifers. 
Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent
shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 cent
slide on yearlings from base weights.  Current sales up to 14 days for
delivery.
