Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/11/2018

Receipts: 4,315        Last Week 6,597        Last Year: 1,755                  

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers not evenly 
tested on a Current FOB basis but a lower undertone was noted.  
Receipts this week consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs and 39 percent 
heifers.  Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 
percent shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 
4-8 cent slide on yearlings from base weights.  Current sales up to 14 days for delivery.
