Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 04/20/2018

Receipts: 6,284        Last Week 6,453        Last Year 6,304              

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers traded not well
tested last week on a Current FOB Basis, therefor no trend is available.
CME cattle futures for both Live and Feeder cattle contracts were very
uncertain again this week with higher and lower movements.  Receipts this
week consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs and 49 percent heifers. 
Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent
shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 cent
slide on yearlings from base weights.  Current sales up to 14 days for
delivery.
