Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/16/2015
 
Receipts: 6,372        Last Week 3,911        Last Year 2,031              

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers 4.00-10.00 higher.  Feeder 
heifers not tested for current delivery.  Demand moderate to good as
as futures prices moved higher followed by slaughter cattle pricing
and boxed beef prices.  Weather remains very dry in much of Oklahoma,
and this, along with some unusually warm temperatures has delayed some of
the states wheat planting.  Receipts this week included 100 percent over
600 lbs and 20 percent heifers.  Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB
weigh point with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent
slide on calves and 4-8 cent slide on yearlings from base weights.
Current sales up to 14 days for delivery.
