Receipts: 3,968        Last Week 3,309        Last Year 8,211                   

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers traded steady to firm as 
most sales occurred early in the trading period, before the CME Feeder Cattle 
futures contracts fell towards the end of the week.  Demand remains moderate 
good for feeder cattle.  Receipts this week included 100 percent over 600 lbs 
and 30 percent heifers.  Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with 
a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 
cent slide on yearlings from base weights.  Current sales up to 14 days for 
delivery.
