Oklahoma Direct Feeder Cattle Report
Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 12/21-28/2012

   Confirmed:  7842     Last Week:  3879     Last Year:  1085

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower.  No trend 
available for feeder heifers due to last week's light test.  Demand moderate to 
good.  Cold temperatures swept through early in the week making it feel more 
like December.  Supply this week included 94 percent over 600 lbs and 56 percent 
heifers. 
   Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent shrink 
or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and 3-6 cent slide on 
yearlings from base weights. Current sales up to 14 days for delivery.
