SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (769)
WINONA (194), PHILADELPHIA (325), and BROOKHAVEN (180) ON 
Tues Sep 17, 2019

Receipts:       1,468         Last Week:      1,903        Last Year:   2,004

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 6.00 lower 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 6.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 14 percent slaughter cows and 17 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
