SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (577) and 
COMO (300) ON Wed Aug 28, 2019

Receipts:      877          Last Week:    709        Last Year:   604

Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers sold steady and 
heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 
The supply included 15 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 59 percent steers 
and 41 percent heifers, with an estimated 15 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
