SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (453) and 
COMO (283) ON Wed Jul 17, 2019

Receipts:      736          Last Week:       644        Last Year:   756

Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 14 percent slaughter cows and 8 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers 
and 47 percent heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
